HealinGenz has over 1.5 years of experience bridging the knowledge and abilities of practitioners who work closely with children and teenagers with the conceptual understanding of evaluating results.
Pakistan’s top membership organization, HealinGenz (Healing Generations), gathers and applies data to enhance the mental health and wellness of children and youth. Founded in 2022 by a group of health professionals who were determined to understand the impact of their work, our network now consists of research institutions, local authorities, professional bodies, education settings, cultural and community services, and mental health providers from all over Pakistan and beyond.
We acknowledge that young people and children have the right to space, voice, audience, influence, and to have their opinions heard and taken into consideration. This is implemented throughout our work using the child engagement framework.
We oversee a network and community that is dedicated to gathering and applying data to enhance the mental health and wellness of kids and teens.
We have information on the wellness and mental health of over 8,000 children and youth in Sindh, Pakistan. We help others collect and analyze their own data. We become proficient at leveraging this data to enhance assistance.
In addition to training and knowledge-sharing events, like the yearly Kids Engagement Forum and Seminars, members of the HealinGenz team offer a variety of support for data collecting, analysis, and reporting as well as the use of data to enhance services.
